Scope:   This 280,000 sq. ft. highly-sustainable administration building was built for LEED Silver Certification, Level Four (ISC/FPS) security and the assurance of a 24/7 mission critical needs. The new building is located on a 130-acre research park adjacent to the University of Maryland and adjacent to areas of existing woods and County parkland. The building also houses part of NOAA's National Environmental Satellite Data and Information Service. All glass systems were fabricated and installed by CBO Glass. The glass systems included in the construction of this state-of-the-art building included:
-   Custom Designed Blast Curtainwall System
-   28,000 sq. ft. of Pre-Glazed Unitized Curtainwall
-   16,400 sq. ft. of Vertical Curtainwall
-   20,000 sq. ft. of Ribbon Windows
-     2,525 sq. ft. of Punched Windows
-     8,100 sq. ft. of Aluminum Panels
-   15,430 ln. ft. of Sunshades
